Our Organisational  Journey will continue to be shaped by you!

Here at Emerging Dreams ltd we believe that you guys are the experts in deciding what your community needs and wants. Consequently, we plan to regularly engage with community members to seek their views surrounding the gaps in local service provision. We have formulated a summary from our most recent survey and our response to this can be observed below.

Members of our local community were asked to give their views surrounding current mental health provision.

79% of respondents report a critical need for Affordable Psychological Assessments

We did!

We reviewed our costs and compared them to both private and charitable providers, to ensure they remain accessible. We are also actively liaising with funding providers to seek support for lower income families.

70-74% of respondents report a need for mental health/SEN support programs in the community.

We did!

We have extended our therapeutic group programme, and we are actively working to introduce new groups to support a wider demographic.

89% report excessive wait times as a barrier.

We did!

Our current wait times do not exceed 4 weeks maximum.

85% see the value in services run by those with lived experience.

We did!

All three directors have been service users themselves and all three have a child with special educational needs. This makes us uniquely placed to support those in crisis without judgement and with a genuine understanding for those accessing the service.

Only 18% of respondents were aware of Alexithymia; 91% have never been screened for it when previously accessing mental health services.

We did!

The clinical lead of Emerging Dreams ltd specialises in Alexithymia. She has extensively researched the impact of Alexithymia on various population samples and has particularly identified its impact on therapeutic interventions. This enables us to bring unique insights into our therapeutic support including the inclusion of Alexithymia screening processes, influencing treatment plans and outcomes.
